Donald L. Best, Jr.

Donald L. Best, Jr., a shareholder, is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1980. Don earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1983.

Don has an “AV Preeminent” peer review rating in Martindale-Hubbell, signifying the highest level of professional excellence.

Don’s practice focuses on litigation in the areas of defense of third party liability claims and lawsuits, first party coverage disputes involving both liability and property insurance coverage, arson and fraud defenses and subrogation, for national and regional insurance carriers. He has litigated and tried jury and non-jury cases in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. He was a founding member of DiBella Geer McAllister & Best, P.C. in 1995, then known as DiBella & Geer, P.C.

Don is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania. Don is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and a frequent speaker at seminars and continuing education programs presented by organizations such as PAMIC and the National Business Institute and for client companies.
